The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Murang’a County has relocated several secondary school principals in preparation for the upcoming second term reopening. Additionally, some deputy principals have been promoted.TSC Latest transfers.
Andrew Maina, the principal of Ichagaki Mixed Secondary School, with a tenure of 15 years, has been transferred to PK Secondary School, replacing John Mwangi. Maina, credited with overseeing the transformation of Ichagaki Secondary School from a mere 66 students to 660, expressed gratitude for his time there.

Julia Muturi, the principal of Kamahuha Girls, has been reassigned to Musa Gitau in Kiambu County, succeeding Rhoda Wamaitha. Meanwhile, Wamaitha has been moved to Nginda Girls in Maragua, replacing Veronica Mwai, who will now lead Kamahuha Girls.

According to Francis Ng’ang’a, the Director of TSC in Murang’a, these transfers are part of routine exercises with no cause for concern. Handovers in the affected schools have been coordinated by the sub-county directors of education.
Among other transfers, Hannah Wangari, the deputy principal of Kamahuha Girls, will now serve at Koimbi Mixed Secondary School. Danstan Ngare of Mweru Secondary School has been reassigned to Gaitheri Secondary School, while the deputy principal of Senior Chief Girls, Kiambu, moves to Karuri Gakure Secondary School in Kangema.
