Non-Kenyan students seeking to undertake the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) will encounter a slightly altered registration process. As per the Kenya National Examination Council’s directive, the government, through the Ministry of Education, will cover assessment fees for all learners in both public and private institutions, with the exception of non-Kenyan citizens, who will be required to pay a fee of Sh750.KPSEA Exams Registration 2024.
The registration process is overseen by the respective head teacher of the student’s institution, with fees being deposited into specified Knec Assessment fees collection accounts held at National Bank, Kenya Commercial Bank, Co-operative Bank, or Equity Bank. The registration window for both the KPSEA and the Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment (KILEA) commenced on January 29 and will draw to a close on March 29, 2024.
It’s imperative to note that all Grade 6 students must undergo fresh registration for assessment, a process identical to that of the previous year. Registration is facilitated through the KPSEA registration portal, and it’s emphasized that late registrations will not be accommodated post the March 29, 2024 deadline. The slated examination dates for both KPSEA and KILEA are October 28 to 31, 2024. KILEA serves as an evaluation tool for Intermediate Level learners transitioning to the Pre-vocational Level.KPSEA Exams Registration 2024.
Eligible candidates must unequivocally be genuine learners from their respective schools, as any attempt to register fictitious candidates is regarded as a grave form of malpractice. School heads are reminded to meticulously ensure the accuracy of registration data and are permitted to facilitate transfers exclusively during the registration period. It’s incumbent upon schools to conduct transfers via the online platform to mitigate the risk of candidate duplication.
Moreover, all aspiring KPSEA candidates must first complete registration in the Grade 6 portal to secure an Assessment Number, a prerequisite for formal registration. Additionally, during the registration process, it’s mandatory for the head of the institution to ensure that the students’ scores for Grades 4 and 5 are duly uploaded.
In essence, the streamlined registration process, coupled with the diligent adherence to stipulated guidelines, underscores a commitment to ensuring the integrity and fairness of the assessment system. By upholding these standards, the Kenya National Examination Council aims to foster a conducive environment conducive for academic excellence and equitable opportunity attainment.KPSEA Exams Registration 2024.
