When you transfer, you can change both the school and the programme. For example, you can go from:
- Degree to Degree
- Diploma to Diploma
- Degree to Diploma
- Diploma to Degree
- A state corporation called Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) chooses which students get into universities, national polytechnics, technical training facilities, and other authorised higher education institutions for government-sponsored programmes. Career counselling is also offered.
A transfer applicant must meet the required cut-off points and have their transfer application accepted in order to be eligible for the programmes they are moving to.
A transfer application must also be approved by both the receiving and releasing institutions, which can now be done online. So, students won’t have to go to the schools themselves.
